Be Strong: Even though you may be lonely or craving some free time or attention for yourself, when you are single parenting you need to be strong. You need to be there for the child and make sure that they feel safe and protected, and this is your number one priority. You can never put yourself first when you have a child and especially not when you are a single parent.

Stay Positive: Although it can be difficult sometimes, especially when you are dealing with a lot of children or children of an older age, namely teenagers, you need to stay positive. Know that you are doing the best that you can and that even though there are sure to be problems along the way, as long as you put your all into it and love your children, they will see this and this is what really matters.

Save Time: Wherever you can, you need to find time saving ways of accomplishing everyday tasks. Whether you need to cook larger portions and then freeze the leftovers and use them another night, or take one day out of the week to get everything done, by planning more you will be able to stay better organized and not feel so weighed down.
